Do a search on this site on accidents. or google " safety bypass injury". Every single person was sure they could get away with what they did. Where are they now?

I think we all understand your point. You make sense, but there's no point in trying to scare us. Anyone who disables their seat switch obviously has taken it upon themselves to bypass a safety feature and is responsible for the consequences.
Personally, I need to stand up often while using my pallet forks. Otherwise, I can't see the tips. I got tired of the tractor shutting off while I did this, so I bypassed it.

A tractor shutting off is also a safety problem... especially on steep terrain... most know are Kubota brakes are secondary and we depend on the hydro which means shifting to neutral to restart.

I have never owned a tractor that even had a seat switch and never needed one..

How many people here have ever "cleaned up a mess" after an "accident" ? Dealt with family, friends and neighbours? Ever seen or smelled somebody that was torn up? For no good reason.

Honestly I don't have hilly grounds around here enough to worry about needing a switch. But also my tractors are so old there is no such thing as a safety switch.

I am not one for bypassing safety switches but that is one switch that is going to get it. That switch has been a royal pain in my a since they delivered my tractor last fall. I have been operating tractors since 1960 and this one is the first one with the seat switch.
