I think we all understand your point. You make sense, but there's no point in trying to scare us. Anyone who disables their seat switch obviously has taken it upon themselves to bypass a safety feature and is responsible for the consequences.
Personally, I need to stand up often while using my pallet forks. Otherwise, I can't see the tips. I got tired of the tractor shutting off while I did this, so I bypassed it.
Amen. Agree 100%. Those "safety switches" were put there by teams of lawyers performing the 3 letter version of butt covering exercises. BuickandDeere has not cited a single case of an injury due to lack of a seat-based "safety" switch. I doubt there are any. No one exists who is more safety conscious than I am since I often operate on steep ground. Seat interlocks serve little purpose other than to irritate the owners.
