Is there a simple non evasive way to bypass the seat switch? Whenever I get on a slight grade I can't stay in the seat well enough to keep it engaged and it's highly annoying. Today I was mowing round the pond and if I tried to look back to watch the mower I just couldn't keep the seat down too light in the pants I guess.

I unpluged mine at the HST "neutral" switch. It's on the HST pedal linkage on the Left side under your feet. Do it at your own risk (of theoretical actual harm and safety police assault).
Ill try to take a picture tomorrow. Super easy and reverasable.

Oh. OK.
The actual seats switch is 3 position. Full pressure (seated), neutral pressure (empty seat), and no pressure (flipped up).
I THINK you'll find that in full pressure the swich is completely open. If this is true, then disconnecting the switch will simulate the seated position all the time.
If this is not correct then trial-and-error jump the non-black wires to the black wire until correct. (sould just be 3 wires)

My problem was that I'd lean right to see the loader better and trigger the safety.

On my 5240 I unplugged the seat switch and put a jumper in.

That's the same thing I'm doing. I can't even take my phone out of my back pocket without it studdering.

Take Coke can and cut strip to size needed to hold down switch.

On my BX2230, I just buckle the seat belt ove the seat to keep the seat down.

Thick chunk of rubber or a wooden block wedged between the mounting bracket that holds the switch and the switch lever works, that's what's on mine. Safety devices are a pain in the a**

Has anyone done a B2620? I only have clamp on bucket forks and you can't see them while seated.
