UL says you can't regulate the temp of the oil.......yes you can.....with a regulator at the tank. You get the temp of the oil to I believe 350 degrees F and watch your thermometer.
The temp will reduce when the bird is put into the pot.
watch it and REGULATE.
My pot has oil level lines for the size turkey your cooking to keep you from over filling.
The main key is to have a brain and use it!!!
Heck taking a bath is dangerous......people need to use the brain in that head!!!!!
Fried Turkey is the best!!!!
And you want something good......when you get finished with that big bird.......put some chicken in there until it floats.......awesome!!!
I hear Fried Steak is good as well........peanut oil is just good!!
And I do reuse the oil several times......it's peanut oil.....natural ,biodegradable.....
