Yesterday, 2 more round bales along the road, near the spot someone lost one a few weeks ago.

Sorry for the delay. Today I hauled the load about 200 miles to our job site. It handled it no problems. Cruise set on 70 most of the way. Once on the job site I had to go through some rough terrain to get where I was going which required 4WD. I unloaded the crawler before attempting it and had the crawler out front in case I needed a tow. Attached is a picture of the load.

That is quite a load... and rig!

Thanks for the pic. That is way heavier than I would have expected for a tracked vehicle like that. I'm used to Tucker Sno Cats which come in around 8-11K and are 'roughly' the same size/config. If your trailer axles alone weighed over 28K that makes that thing quite a beast. What can you drive it over/through? Swamps? Or more tame stuff like muddy ditches and fields?

It weighs 19-20k. The tracks are 2' wide though so it has extremely low ground pressure. Less than a person on foot. We primarily have to traverse difficult terrain of all types - sand, steep hills, wet areas, etc. I have driven it through wet areas where a 4x4 ATV couldn't go through and barely even left ruts. On our last job there were steep hills our Kubota UTV's could not climb them and I had two RTV's chained on to the back of the tracked machine and was dragging them up the hills.

Saw this today during a windstorm in Denver Colorado. Winds were insane with gusts up to 80mph :eek

Just after I snapped the picture, a big gust came through. Actually thought the truck was gonna flip over. Granted, the gutters probably don't weigh much. But they were acting as a sale.

Is that a 36” Montezuma? Trying to decide between than and the 30”. Was concerned about how far back it runs with the flatbed and didn’t want to chance hitting it with the neck of the GN

That's a bad_ss setup, I'm envious, really like the way the truck is set up.

Just yanked a roofers van filled with Central Americans back onto the road. Man it really needed a hard tug. They had all sorts of pieces of roofing and scrap plywood out trying to get traction. They were smoking the tire that was still on the road. I was afraid he might back into me. I had to tell him a couple times to keep his foot off the gas. Funny thing, I think it was one of the local roofers. I’ll have to ask him next time I see him.
