That looks like a 6 lug 5k axle. That load would be a lot for 2 3.5k axles. Although I have hauled about that much in my 7k dump trailer 70 miles several loads of maple a friend gave me. Maybe not quite that much. Wet maple is heavy.

I also should mention the straps on the truck are 1" commercial grade rated at 2300 pounds each. They are much thicker than cheap 1" straps. They are expensive but it's worth it because they fit the anchor points in the truck bed. And it's not squatting. I don't like how those 2500HDs look up high with the square wheel arches and the nose down slope. So I put drop shackles on the rear to level it and an autolevelling air bag setup so it won't bottom out when loaded.it sits the same empty. It handled that load just fine. I stopped at a state scale that was closed on the way home and the truck was under the GRAW and right at capacity on the trailer.
