dirt; When sending that recipe to Larro, will you include me in that PM, as well? Thanks! Sorry if this is a repeat, as I am still on first cup of coffee, so have a few cobwebs in the brain, this morning.

Will do.

She and our boys are gone again this evening. Mom is spending as much time with them as she can before they head off to college again. It may be this weekend but I'll get her in front of the computer sometime. :)

This is what I picked today. Now you see why Margie is always making pepper jelly, pepper rings, stuffed peppers and poppers.

That is a lot of peppers. My wife wears gloves when handling them to.

I learned a lesson years ago when my gut could take it I ate a habanero while working the night shift as a deputy sheriff. It was not too bad until I rubbed my eye (even after washing my hands). Staying awake was not a problem that night. :duh:

Nice looking haul, Larro! Y'all are sure going to enjoy it this winter too!

I don't eat sugar, so the jelly is no good to me. She does make a low sugar one once in a while for me. But the freezer is full of poppers. {There is a lot of time involved in making a batch of poppers, and making two or three batches doesn't take that much longer} They freeze really good. Just defrost, then heat them in the nuker a few at a time. When we can find it, she makes the poppers with turkey sausage. Since I can't stop with just a few, I need all the help I can get for my waistline. But when she is in a hurry, the real meat bacon bits does just fine.

Larro; How about sharing the poppers recipe? I love peppers and poppers, just haven't frozen any. Sounds like something good. Of course, I'll have to freeze them only 2-3 to a container, so I won't overeat on them too.! That is how I have to watch my "girlish figure"!

Will do. I'll get Margie to pull it up on her laptop. She has two or three, but the one we are liking right now involves a milk bath, flour and bread crumbs.

FG19, I posted the popper recipe over on What's for supper??? - Page 2 in case anyone else wanted it. Margie sent it to me in an E-mail, so all I had to do was cut and paste.

Thanks, hon!

Edit; Larro, that looks wonderful! And making enough to last the winter will be FUN, if I don't eat to many while making them! I'll be leaving some seeds in too!

Thanks for posting! The pics are great!

We like a strip of hot pepper and lots of garlic in our dill pickles.
