What part of, Amazon is losing money on everyone of these, are you having trouble with? Amazon made a mistake. It's a mistake that many of us took advantage of. Maybe we should get together, as buyers, and buy one for Shield Arc. That would make sense to me. Thanks Shield Arc!
I do not necessarily think Amazon made a mistake. If so their first price increase would have fully corrected everything. I have priced other things on Amazon before and sometimes the price you see today will be different than the one you see tomorrow on same item. Sometimes it seems your search inquiry was just enough to trigger a price increase if you happen to wait a day before buying as the qty available for sale is still the same. Of course as sales qty's increase then the price goes up. We rarely do not think much about it when it is an item known to cost $4 at wholesale retail for $6 in stores yet we find it for on Amazon for $2.
