After reading all of these, I forgot a programmable CNC, and the room to put it! Been a lifetime ago but worked as a machinist making airplane parts, my imagination went wild after I learned to program the thing! What a wonderful beast they are.
But really, the only reason I do what I do is that I can buy all the tools I want and the wife doesn't complain (much) since I "need" them for work. She did freak a little with the tractor though So if it's a tool, I probably want it and am out of room to put it.
Fastcaps in Bellingham Wa has come up with a few interesting things (wood tools) and Festool has some great sanders for everything out also. Dust free (almost) and will take you down to bare what ever fast!

I second the vehicle lift. We also need a plasma cutter and a drill press.

Have a plethora of wood and metal tools but always can use more.
