Shop tools you wish you had

A bigger shop with a walk out basement. My shop is 24 x 24 and ceiliing is only 6'10". I need a drill press, but I am not sure where I will put it.

I'd be glad for a shop that big. Mine is about 12 x the length of a car, total, so with all my tools a table and shelves it's small. Have to move the the tractor out if I want to do anything other than stand at the bench. My ceiling is about 12 ft though and I have utilized it.

I guess that is something I could add to my list, Bigger shop.

After reading all of these, I forgot a programmable CNC, and the room to put it! Been a lifetime ago but worked as a machinist making airplane parts, my imagination went wild after I learned to program the thing! What a wonderful beast they are.

This is what I'm planning for a shop. The place in this photo isn't quite right and about 1600 sq ft... The rules: We need a rambler, shop CANNOT be bigger than the house and she doesn't want to see it.
Modifying this thing with the right piece of property and I have me a 2600 sq ft drive through shop. Who cares about the house. The whole bottom of this place is a shop, doors are tall enough for my trailers and you can just fit a motor home under that deck. Only problem with this place is it's not mine.

The guy who owns it is a tool "collector" also. This is the cabin he had built for the kids, the other one is across the street on the lake but no storge. DNR all around great mountain views, the lake. Life is good up there! Better yet, no cell phones work!

I wish I had a hoist, it looks like you can pick one up for less than 2k. Then I would have to add on to my shop with a taller ceiling in the new part. I also wish I had some welding stuff, but then I would have to learn to weld. I also wish I had a parts washer, and a bead blast cabinet. I'm pretty lucky, as a rule, I have most of the tools I need, and a pretty decent shop to use them in. Here is a picture of my shop, one thing I would do different is put in a much higher ceiling and one oversized door.
