simplicity javelin vs deere x304

ill be mowing about 1.75 acres many trees relatively flat. having a hard time finding info on the javelins. i plan on pulling a cart for light stuff aerating and maybe dethatching. my local dealer said that the javelin should be able to do them. i can get the 50 inch deck on the javelin cheaper than the deere so i am sort of leaning toward the javelin. i know they are both good brands but i cant find much info on the javelins. any help would be appreciated thanks
