I do, and pretty well, too, since we had a Buick dealership across the street from my Dad's service station and we did a lot of the washing and other "make ready" on them. I sure liked the '57 models of all the GM products better than the '58 models. To me, the '58 GM products just felt and handled like big heavy, awkward machines. The '59s got a little better, but all had very soft and weak suspension that I didn't like. We put Monroe loadlevelers (shock absorbers with coil springs around them) all the way around on my Dad's '59 Olds and then it was a nice handling and riding car.

Did he by chance have the DeSota on which the front seats swivelled out when the door was opened.

Hi
I had a 58 olds 2 door hardtop, wish I still had it. It was one of the best cars I ever had. I also had a 62 olds I like but it didn't ride as well as the 58. It might have been a little quicker in its get up and go for the first 1/4 mile.

Charlie,
