I see they only list 1720 but they all should be the same, 1705, 1710, 1715, 1720.
I saw that, figured it's the same. But emailed them to confirm, and that's when they got back to me about the long lead time.

I made my own sort of similar to Bro-Tek’s. I didn’t like the diamond plate facing down on their design. Seemed like it would hang up on rocks and other obstacles instead of sliding over them. No indication at all of the hydraulics running hot due to possibly obstructing the air flow to the fan. I have worked the heck out of it on hot summer days and I don’t think it is an issue.
The brotek plate can breath out each side. If you look closely the bottom is covered and the filter is covered but the sides are wide open
I'd love to see that, can you post a pic?
Check this thread out. I copied the plan and built a skid plate for my 2300 my pics on page 2

That's a start, but it doesn't address the rest of the vulnerability. I have that guard and still had small dead weeds and twigs contact my fan and chip it to heck. I'm sure the filter and PTO seal aren't unscathed. It's just annoying. I thought about using expanded metal and welding some sort of framed guard to protect the fan and filter. For what its worth, the back models have a filter guard underneath and the non-backhoe models do not. The same filter guard can be installed on the non-backhoe models.
