Skid plate for GC series tractors

/ Skid plate for GC series tractors #31
Naw just gas, didn’t really need it being I have a it 3000 Kipor and a 6500 Colman but I found it on sale for under 200.00 delivered and could not pass it up, it is usually in the back of my pickup for out at my property and the Kipor is for my camper and the Colman is for my home.

I have to say that the sportsman generator is a nice inexpensive generator for sure, starts right up and has handled everything I have used it for, I like it out at my property for flood lights if I’m working late at night and then I do not need to use my campers power.

Most the parts on the table are two turbo set ups for mid 90’s Ford 5.0 and then my hand wood working tools are underneath. It’s a mess.

Me to Bxpanded via email:
Curious if Bxpanded has a skid plate in the works for MF's GC17xx line, similar to what you have for Kubota.
Only Bro-Tek has something along those lines for Massey Ferguson tractors, honestly doesn't look nearly as complete as your Under Armor product.

Bxpanded back to me:
Unfortunately we do not have one for the Massey in the works at the moment, sorry we can’t help right now.
Thank you for checking!

I need to run this by you folks..

Do you think a person could somehow take and make a plate(template)that would hook up to the lift system the same way the mmm does and would protect the underside of the tractor? Something that when you take the deck off you could slide underneath and hookup then raise the deck arms, I have not really looked under my 1705 to see what’s all under it but I was sitting here thinking that when the deck is on that is what is protecting the underside so why not try and make a plate that hooks to the lift arms with pins like the mmm does, it would still give the tractor some ground clearance and protection.

Just a thought I guess I had being the deck is off and it would make a good template if a person wanted to look it over.

I hate Kubota people, they have too many toys. Spoiled brats. :D

Waiting for a skid plate for the little Mahindras, I may have to make one.

They also have garbage lift capacity on their FEL's largely due to the design of the boom. My dad's BX FEL is quicker than mine (single RAM curl, smaller diameter lift RAMs) but not nearly as powerful. They are #1 cause they pioneered the segment and the pricing is generally close to best in the marketplace. I'll take my Massey every day of the week over a BX even without the aftermarket.

Yeh we spec out better in that regard, although I think the BX's 3ph lift capability is a bit higher...not that I personally care about that.

If it makes you feel better. When dad needs to get stuff done...he's knockin on my door for my GC1710. He loves it and recommends it and Kubota to anyone who's asks about what to buy.
