I've heard of situations like this that seem to predict the future. Some people have called them visions. I've always considered them to be a daydream of what someone would like to have happen - something like a Walter Mitty experience. However, I no longer believe that they are daydreams. There is a message in there somewhere. I had an experience that I can only call a vision, it's nothing like I've ever experienced. In it I saw a building that I walked into, the foyer was 4 feet above the main floor. I walked down to the main floor and talked with a guy halfway down and on the far left against the wall - and there are some more details that I observed. Then 3 years later I was headed for Africa from New Zealand and decided to stop in at Coober Peedy in Australia. It was Easter Sunday so we decided to go to church. We found one on the outskirts of town and walked into the church. The foyer was 4 feet above the main floor, we walked down to the main floor and moved to the seat on the left against the wall and had a conversation with the guy sitting right behind us. At that point I realized all this seemed familiar. Jeremiah 29:11 now has a lot of meaning to me.

My sleep is not very good lately and i even consider to talk to my doctor about that.
I think my insomnia has to do something with the fact that i started to have ed lately and need to buy viagra online if i still want to be sexually active. Probably my brain just can't take it for now and all those thoughts in my head are way too heavy.

Another one, I didn't write down but close enough from memory.
This dream also was many years ago...about 30-40 years ago. In the dream I was driving a car that wasn't mine but I remembered the dash layout and numbers. Everything was in multiples of 5, road numbers, speed, odometer, etc.
I'm driving, my wife is with me. We're where we've never been and I drive over a hill doing 55 mph, the speed limit. Ahead is a small town with one traffic light. The speed limit drops from 55 to 45 then 35. I have the green light and going through an ambulance T-bones us and we are killed. We couldn't see the ambulance since there was a building there, ambulance was speeding with lights on but no siren.
About 15 years ago wife & I are discussing a vacation and I said instead of the usual myrtle beach why not go North? She said sure so I booked tickets with Amtrak, a motel room in Peabody near Boston and a rental car for a compact car.
So we ride Amtrak Lynchburg Va to Boston, walk to the car rental where we're told they're out of compacts but how about a Mercedes at the same price?! Sure!
We then drive to Peabody motel. Next day explore Salem and various sights and a couple days later I say how about we go up through Maine? Wife says sure so next morning I follow the coast, highway 1 I believe then go off into center of Maine (now, again, from memory...but the gist) and the multiples of 5 start. I'm on highway 5, pop over a hill and there's a small town intersection of something like 35. I'm doing 55 and see a traffic light up ahead. At this point my wife said I sounded like "The Rain Man" because I was recalling the dream, saying something like " we're on 5 doing 55, a car that isn't mine, there's 35 and speed drops to 45 then 35...there's the tach and speedometer exactly, odometer just tripped 5,555". Then I say "mind if I slow down?" "Sure" she replies. "Mind if I stop for the green light"? I ask. "That's fine" she says. By now cars behind us tapping their horn. At the green light I stop...and an ambulance flies past lights on but no siren. I look back and that driver looks astonished. I look both ways and continue on.
Turns out a great vacation...but how to explain???!!!

My sleep is not very good lately and i even consider to talk to my doctor about that
What helps me is this: bedroom should be very dark. I like it cool...62°. Before bed nothing stressful, usually a good movie (TCM...30s-40s). No "news" or drama. Wife & I are quiet, just enough light to see by. In bed I don't think of anything stressful. We're asleep within 5 minutes.
My doctor prescribed Valium (diazepam) 5mg I rarely take but if something really stressful is going on that puts me to sleep.

Has anyone had prophetic dreams of the future? I have which to me doesn't make logical sense, anything we know of time.
About 35 years ago I dreamed some guy drove up our driveway and started hanging around. In the dream he had two cars. The dream seemed to last for hours and waking up I remembered it in detail. I got out a few sheets of paper writing down details, what the two cars were, the color, a 1965 Pontiac Tempest and a 1979 Plymouth Roadrunner, where he lived, music he listened to (60s rock). I even sketched what he looked like, height, weight, age. He always wore a stocking cap (beanie). I didn't know his name, in the dream referring him as "the pest" because he was pesky, always hanging around.
Years passed, and I swear this is all a true story, my wife can verify...years passed and one day a car comes up the driveway. It was a 1965 Pontiac Tempest. Both Tempest emblems he had broken the TEM off and with black magic marker written "The" over them..."The pest". The young guy had on a stocking cap, 60s rock playing on the radio. He gets out saying he heard we liked old cars and started talking about them. He said his other car was (of course) a '79 Roadrunner. My neighbor walks over and we're all talking cars until he finally leaves saying he would be back the next day! Wife & I go in the house and I remembered that dream and got those papers out I had kept. Showing them to my wife I thought she was going to faint.
Every detail of the dream was spot on and he was a pest. Finally after a few years we had to get rid of him by leaving, not answering phone, etc. We haven't seen him in years now.
I've had other prophetic dreams, one I'm sure saved my and my wife's life. How can it be possible dreaming of something that hadn't happened yet, years in the future?
I've had a couple. One was of this girl standing with some mountains in the background.

Anyway, I was on an FFA trip to a convention in Kansas City, MO, and met this gal at the convention. We hung out on occasion and then became pen pals. I had this dream about a girl and mountains shortly after getting home.

Shortly, later on, I received a picture from that gal with her standing there with a mountain scene behind her.

Years later, I realized I had witnessed her getting that photo taken in front of the Chicago bulls team bus when we had arrived at the hotel. The team bus had a mountain scene on it. I just didn't really pay attention, and it didn't sink in at the time since I was paying more attention to the hotel lobby and surroundings. I had never been in a place so fancy before

I do a similar technique. Before bed, I take the pooch for a 15-minute or so walk. Depends on the smells I enjoy the peace and quiet, admire the stars and moon if it's clear. I try not to think about anything.

I then take my shower and crawl into bed. Once in bed, I build something Fence, bird feader, constructing the layout on a cabin, etc... Just wander through the steps daydreaming. Usually, make it about 10 minutes.

Now if my shepherd curls up to me with the girlfriend cuddles (head tucked into my neck, paw over my chest like a girlfriend) I'm out cold in under a minute.

I used to have adventure dreams, often as good or better than the movies. Often times I was kinda disappointed to wake up.

Those stopped when I was promoted to middle management in my late forties. Every since then, it’s disaster and catastrophe dreams, even though I left the business and became self employed many years ago.

It's like déjà vu all over again.

"It's déjà vu all over again." Berra explained that this quote originated when he witnessed Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris repeatedly hitting back-to-back home runs in the Yankees' seasons in the early 1960s

No...no...no. This fellow would have been a young child when I had the dream. Neither we or neighbors knew anything about him.
I have the dream, awaken and write all about the dream since it was so vivid. He would have been a child at the time...only years later did he appear at our home.
There's no logical explanation.
I believe you. Don't try and get people to believe you that have made up their mind otherwise. There are a lot of things unexplainable by man, that happen to us. I have a few myself that cannot be explained.

My wife was in a pretty serious car accident two years ago and everyone walked away from it even through 3 cars were totaled. Hers was only about 3 years old and still totaled. The next day I asked her if she was going to tell her mom and she said, I'm going to walk down there and tell her because if I tell her on the phone she will be more upset if she cannot see that I'm fine.

So my wife called her mom that morning to see if she would be home, so she could walk down for a visit. Her mom said, over the phone, is everything ok with you? Yesterday afternoon I had an overwhelming sense of fear for you and I got down and prayed for you. My wife somewhat stunned said, weeelllll I'm ok now. But I was in a car accident yesterday afternoon (same time her mom was praying for her) and totaled my car. Her mom started balling over the phone. This was about two weeks after my wife had lost her dad to Covid.

I have another story of when I worked third shift at a coffee factory as a shift electrician. We over road a high limit temperature probe on a coffee been dryer because the operator was having trouble getting the beans dry. Young and dumb move on my part. Caught the dryer on fire and we had to call the fire department. I was on the floor the dryer was on trying to get to the find my way off the floor and could not see anything from the smoke. I was truly scared, about as scared as I'd ever been in my life. I was fine and no one was hurt. Next morning my MIL calls my wife to ask her if I was OK. You guessed it, she woke up worried about me around 3am (same time I was dealing with the fire) and started praying for me.

Explain that will you. My MIL is a deeply religious woman who was also severally physiologically abused by her parents (Dad was a pastor) Her mom was just pure evil. My MIL is a very different person scarred from her childhood as were her brother and sister and yet God uses her. Her brother is an atheist because of his treatment by his Baptist (evil parents). Not that I believe all Baptist are evil, I do not believe that. I won't go into the details of my MIL she is who she is and I love her as she is. She is 77 but still has the self preservation mindset of a 6 year old that was abused, very sad. But she has a very caring side also.

I bring religion in only because I believe the things that happen that are unexplainable are occurring in the spiritual realm. The one we don't understand or can see. That is a whole subject unto itself.

Agree that it's a subject into itself, and probably better left to the front porch, but I will say this; being religious and being spiritual are somewhat related, but not the same. You can be one without being the other. Some of the most spiritual people I've known have had no use for religion.
