My first lumber delivery to the new shop. I can literally pull in and turn around with the trailer!

Hung the UFO lights today. (8) 21,000 lumen lights… I won’t know how well lit it will be, until Duke gets the power on.

The electrical was inspected on the 5th… Duke Energy still has not gotten a meter up. So, my fall beehive builds will be finished at my old shop

I can't tell you how many times over the years I've come squeaking close to taking the plunge. I've read books fiddled with hive designs but in the end the thing that stops me is the honey.

You can sell it for $10/lb, or just leave it for the bees, as they do in nature

I'm intrigued with the idea of a horizontal Langstroth hive. I've seen them built with end entry and 31 frames deep. I like that idea. What do you think?
