You can buy accessory hour meters for small engines.

True, i missed that part. Analog volt meter is not a big deal but an hour meter would sure be nice for things like oil changes.
That's not the correct model. These are XP10000EH and those boxes do say analog meter.DId you get the "DIGITAL HOUR / VOLT METER" ? Mine has only an analog meter. It has a "needle" that actually "moves" to 120 or 240VAC, remember those?

My Duromax XP10000EH was also delivered today by R+L. When it shipped the estimated delivery date was the 19th. On the 15th I got an email notifying me to be ready for a phone call from the carrier company to make arrangements for delivery. Driver called me when he was 10 miles away. My box looks just like Gem99ultra's. It's raining here so wont be able to try it out till later but I think it was a great buy.
Thanks for posting it Sodo!
I don't get the fascination with a volt meter.
O.K. so you start the generator and the meter displays voltage; what do you do with that?
I would prefer dual AMP meters.
Meters that show load on both sides.
That would give you meaningful, useful information.
Well I'm "stationing" my new generator with my son (wife, 2year old, 3 day old) in Northern Virginia so he has something if the power goes out. And I stationed my $271 welder in North Mississippi, so they probably won't be within extension cord distance for a few years. But I would be REAL interested in hearing if someone could run the combo together, even at reduced amps.Al right so the consensus is these units are OK, and you all got a heck of a good deal then? By the time I started to even read the thread, they had went back up.. I already have a 6500 surge, 5000 continuous generator, but I paid as much as you guys did for the 10K ones.
Somebody bought a bunch of Everlast 300 amp welders for next to nothing. too. but I didn't even have that much money to blow on a welder at the time. at the time.<snip>
