Whew! Glad that one's kinda sorted out...

Now for a new one. People who really irritate me are the one's who squeeze the toothpaste from the middle instead of the bottom of the tube. Let me say that I'm neutral. I quit squeezing from the middle back in my 20's but my wife still squeezes it from the middle. She's trying to quit but it's a very tough habit to break.

Not a problem here in Kentucky! (We don't have many teeth)

What I hate is the new plastic tubes. (Guess I'm showing my age) You could roll the old metal tubes up from the bottom as you went along but the new plastic tubes will not stay rolled up and the toothpaste migrates back to the bottom.

Bet we don't get any controversy with this topic.

You need to get the canister type toothpaste dispensers! That will stop her!

In NY it's been this way for about 3 years now. It's weird to walk into a restaurant in another state and think "holy cow their breaking the law" only to remember where I am.

After a year or so the people calm down and life goes on.

Pet Peeve of mine is cigarette butts on the ground, ESPECIALLY in my yard. People throw them out everywhere, I've even seen cops doing it...I guess it's not considered littering, shame really.

I'm for not having "smoking" sections in restaurant...confining smoke to one area is like building a dam out of screen. If they want to go outside to smoke, so be it. It's nice to eat a meal and not come home smelling like an ashtray.

I don't go to bars or clubs, but it seems that smoking and drinking go hand in hand, pun intended. If I were the type to go to a bar and get drunk, a little cigarette smoke shouldn't peave me off.

Ah but second hand gun powder smoke is really bad,in front of the gun.Is it ok to ban gun powder?

Well, they won't let you smoke gun powder in restaurants already so it only seems fit that cigarettes follow suit

Still use a little rub at times, and I've noticed that places that don't allow smoking, you can put a little pinch in, have a plastic cup, and you'd be surprised everywhere you can do it (airports being the big one for myself).
I have noticed however some of the new signs are now "tabacco free" meaning all tabacco products and not just ****.

That said, if by chance I'm in a heavy smoking reastaurant (sp?), every so ofter I'll use a clear glass as a "spit cup" and place it at the corner of my table where every one can see it. People just love that when they are eating, particularly the 80 year old ladys who are chain smoking and have a gruffer voice than myself
