When you use it are you in float or do you find it works best when not in float? Thanks,

My driveways are fairly flat so I normally use "float" with the position valve all the way down and the rail bottom flat to the ground or slightly nose up for smoothing. The position valve only controls the down limit so the 3 point attachmnet can always float upwards. If you have a lot of bumps to level off or are tilting the top link forward to make the rail cut in you may want to limit the down range of your position valve accordingly. If you have the rail already and a 4-N-1 bucket you can grab the rail and drag it backwards for a better view of the angle and float effects. Before fabricating the rear box rail mount I notched my 4-N-1 bucket to get a secure and parallel grip on the rail.

My website is has been retired by my provider so here is a pic of the 200 lb Train Rail Grader attached to my 400 lb box scraper for a 600 lb total. With Top & Tilt 3 point hydraulics it does an amazing job of maintaining my driveways especially after the winter ravages of snow plowing.
