Snow Snow!!! One last storm?

Last night they were calling for 1-3 inchs where I am. They are now calling for 8-12 inchs and it's snowing like crazy out. Glad I didn't take the snow blower off the JD earlier this week.

Should of talked to you earlier as I took my blower off on Monday and sure enough put it back on this morning. It is coming down pretty good here in southern NH right now. I would guess it is better than an inch per hour.

I have a 1000 feet to snowblow and the mud tracks are up to 10 inches deep in places. It's going to be a fun morning. The weather guys are all over the place with this one anywhere from 10" to 24" and now it they are indicating that it could hang around until Monday or tuesday, so it will be interesting.

My goal this time of year is to expend as little time and fuel moving stuff that will melt in two weeks.

I wonder if my wife is home on the tractor plowing for me again?

I was looking forward to playing in the mud!

You should have known better. It always snows when you take off your blade or blower. It's all your fault it's snowing out.

Storm start here about an hour ago..1" so far..one herd of deer taken off for the thick cover,and the other herd getting ready to head...maybe the deer have better idea what were in for.

Hot off the press, I took it from inside the house my son in law was out clearing the drive way, we had about 8 inches at 4:00pm but the drifting is starting to pile up snow.winds are gusting to 26mph.I put the blower and plow back on yesterday,I had the chipper on ready to start clearing next time I will look at the forcast

This is one time I hope the forecasters are dead wrong. We're on the western slopes of the Green Mountains, which is supposed to take the brunt of this storm. Looks like at least 24 inches, with some calling for up to 40 inches!

And poor me just got my excavator last week! Had to put it up on planks so the tracks won't freeze to the ground!

Hi all:

Be carefull what you wish for. NY etal is not the only place to get deeep drifts here is 17" of snow with 50-60 mph winds can do. Why I am thinking a reg backup snow blower vs a front pull some of these shots are only 20 miles away from me
