Good to hear. I have been trying to get a video of my tractor working this winter but just havent had the time to do it or someone to film it. I have a couple pictures but they are all after the storm so it doesnt look like alot of snow. I will turn all my fans on and see if I can get all the lake effect snow we have been getting to reach all the way up to you:D:D

Go for it buddy. Send all the snow you like.:D Hey I put the wrong youtube video link on the last time. Lets see if I get it right this time.

Nice set-up! Maybe one day I'll have enough property and a long enough driveway to justify a tractor like that, but until then my JD 2520 will have to do...:). BTW, do you have any vids of the tractor actually plowing snow?

For those have followed my post on the snow plow adaptation to the FEL I'm happy to report that I've used it for about six hours up to this point and it's worked perfectly. The way that it's mounted and the mold board it's self is very strong. I know because I've had the blade tip right on over after I came off the pavement and hit the edge of the none frozen gravel.

The only thing I decided to change and it was only a small item was if I had my blade tilted back a little to much the rear cylinder bolts would scrape the ground so rather than have that happening I decided to add two more rear skid pucks. They cost me only $22. each and a few hours to do. Now that won't be an issue.

What I like about this set up is if your on pavement and your blade is level and the skids are keeping the cutting edge up a bit and you decide to use the cutting edge all you have to do is tilt the angle of the blade and the cutting edge kicks in.

As for the tractor it's self. I'm using industrial tires, none filled and with the HST and the blade it's actually faster and easier to move around than my truck. Yes. I'm very happy with it. :D Happy Holidays everyone!

I've just started building mine. About the need to add the pucks, since I haven't welded anything together yet,do you think it would help to weld the A frame a little higher on the plate? For example, cut an open slot at the bottom of the plate so the bottom of the A-frame is flush with the bottom of the plate?

I thought about that when I was doing mine and I think It would work against you putting it higher because that will change the angle of your blade. If you increase the height in the rear of the "A" frame it changes the angle on the blade plus you'll have to make some changes to the way your angle cylinders go through the mold board.

As I said. Mine worked perfectly. I just wanted to make sure the rear cylinder bolts didn't scratch up the pavement.

4Shorts, I built a plow setup very close to yours, only I used a meyers st90 plow instead. I have it mounted on my L4330 and let me say wow I am very impressed. The setup cut my plowing time in half from just using the fel to clear the snow. I will post pictures although mine does not look as nice as yours. I have decided to wait for summer to paint it kubota orange.

Thanks a lot for your ideas

Great to hear yours worked out as well. I'm very pleased with mine also. I'll look forward to seeing a few pictures of yours. Your more than welcome for the ideas. That's what it's all about. Happy Holidays!

Here are some pictures of my setup in action! Once again this is a very good setup anyone who builds one will be very impressed provided they put in on a large enough tractor.

Thanks again 4shorts
