Snowblower Snowblower size

Has any one here ran a snowblower with a NH1720. It's 23.5 horse at the PTO. What would you recommend for a size and how do they work in drifts? My driveway is 650 ft. long with a big curve that gets 4-5 ft drifts regularly even with 2 snow fences. Any input appreciated and maybe a brand recommendation. Thanks

It's the 64" model & I have 22 pto hp. Works great. Adjustable skid shoes so I don't pick up gravel. Spiral gear shute adjustment rather than the cable style I've seen.

Al,
I ran a Ford 1900 thru alot of drifts with a 60" 3PH NH blower (716??). Anyway, it was a good balanced combo and could really throw the white stuff. Be sure your blower width will be outside your tread width.
But all this talk about snow drifts and blizzards are givin' me the chills. Heck, the leaves havent even turned much here yet!

RAD Technologies in Thetford Mines, Quebec. I don't know much about them, just what's on their site. When I got mine, I knew even less than I do now, I bought on the recommendation of my dealer. After looking at some others, I appreciate the Blizzard. Their homepage is www.radinter.com

I run the 2-stage, 7' snow blower I had before I got my 1720. 7' is a little big, but generally works fine here in Minnesota. Anything that is a bit wider than your tractor will be good for width.

I used to run the snow blower with an 8' wide tractor with 85 hp.
