Think about the pension liabilities us taxpayers avoid by privatization,at least until the company goes bankrupt and the feds have to pick them up.

Yep that too, just can't get away from it. They gotta have some way of paying people back for contributions.

I am a state employee and money we get is allocated by higher ups. If we dont use the money we have set for 2004 then we will get less in 2005.
Any project costing over $2500 must be put up for bid. I guess to support local business?

Its probaly different in every state.
