Several, all used and abused.
I have three Ledmo LED Parking lot lights that where great while they worked, but they only last a few years before dying. I've replaced the sensor on top without any improvement. They sort of die like a fluorescent light does. The amount of light they put out drops dramatically, then it's just a faint glow for a few days until it's totally dead.

This is what I've bought.

I've been looking on Amazon, but not seeing anything that I want to buy. I'm not wasting my money on any more of the same thing.

Is there another website that you have used that provided a good quality parking lot light?

Thank you,
Eddie

Eddie,

I have used this company for many LED lights.

The one and only time I had a problem was when I bought 3 LED fixtures and one of them died. They sent me 3 replacement fixtures.

I put these up for round pen lighting. Have a 7 year warranty. IME, the electronic driver boards go bad before the anything else in an led fixture.

I put up a few LED Ring smart flood lights ~5 years ago, motion activated. So far so good. In the past my motion lights lasted 2 - 3 years. The Ring lights are moderately expensive, (under $100). They are easy to install and program.

I have three led area lights from Torchstar, they are on Amazon. They've been a great light, installed in 2021. They are dusk till dawn, and $39 right now.

I hate to say it, but you get what you pay for. I installed lots of led parking lot lights and there still going strong after many years. But i only install name brands like Lithonia, cooper lighting, etc. if you already have the poles, any main line industrial supplier can supply a head. You should check out you electrical supply houses. No contractor is going to supply a fixture that burns out in a year.

No, I didn't. If I'm going through the effort of removing them, I'm not going to install the same thing again.

+1 on name brand from a supply house. I think that you get what you pay for. Early on, I installed some cheap LED floodlights that died in six months. I have since switched to name brands. For me, changing an outdoor light isn't like changing a bulb in a table lamp.

I rewired the warranty replacement fixtures to use as lighting around the shop/barn, where they would be easy to repair...

Good luck!

All the best,

Peter

Does your power company have something like mine?
For $3 to $5 a month rent, they will set a pole with a 6000 lumens light and fix or replace any part of it that stops working.

What’s wrong with no yard lighting?

Check out E-conolight.com

Very quality products at a good point.

Warranty response is good also. I have used them for years for commercial projects.

Oops.! I see plowhog mentioned them already.

Thanks. I joined their site so I could get the 10% discount. I'm not sure if they have what I want, but its good to have an option other then Amazon.

I have one yard light. Purchased from and installed by my Co-Op power company. That was back in '82. So I would guess it's fluorescent. It has worked faithfully since its date of installation.

Sometimes I wonder what I would install if/when it ever quits.

Thank you to everyone that offered suggestions on where to buy the lights. After looking at all the lights available, and not really seeing anything that I liked, I decided to go with Lithonia Area Lights that they sell at Lowes. It's a name brand that I've had good luck with, and I just felt more comfortable with them over everything that I saw online.

One of the things that made me nervous about the Ledmo lights was the plug in light sensor on the top. In the three years that I had them, I replaced the light sensor twice. Before the LED Ledmo lights from Amazon, I had Metal Halide lights that also had the plug in light sensors on the top that needed to be replaced a few times in ten or so years.

I already had one of the Lithonia lights on the side of my house and it's performed perfectly for the last couple of years. It has the little built in dusk to dawn sensor that you cannot replace, but seems to work flawlessly.

I bought two of them for my driveway. They only have 6,000 lums, which is a lot less then what I had before, but I really can't tell the difference when looking at the light at night time. It's too early to know if I made the right decision, so for now, it's all good and we're happy with them.

This is the view from my window, looking towards the driveway with the light on. The light is probably 300 feet away from the house.

I'm in the no yard light camp. I have them in spades but I have all of them on a contactor with a switch in my kitchen so I can turn them on when I need them and also have them tied to my camera system. I don't want to light things up for any would be thieves that may happen along. You'd be amazed what you can see in the dark, especially their flashlights.
