If you guys wanted one or the other, we could change it to "Tractor hours" or "Operator experience (hours)" ...

It's not really a huge issue, but I personally find "Operator Hours" the more interesting number.

Harv, I've thought about that myself. The problem is that I have [/b]no idea[/b] how many hours I've got on the various tractors I've used, so I just put the hours on the current tractor's hour meter.

I'm with you. In order to give my seat time I would have to go back to teenage and younger use of a tractors. I spent most of the summer helping on a farm in thumb area of Michigan. With Harv's definition of "hour's" I would have to total these up and many others over the past 50 years. That's an interesting point. In the flying world, we have various designations: time in type, hours SMOH (since major overhaul), etc. But in my case, I just put the number on the meter (when I get a round tuit).

Reason for sparse profile. When I meet someone for the first time, I introduce myself "Hi, I'm Harvey" (yeah, nerdy I know). After spending more time with them and becoming convinced that they are homicidal maniacs (hackers/crackers) in this environment, I will be more open. My impression of what goes on here is actually very good, so I'll probably open the profile more shortly /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif. hmmm, wonder if anyone'll be interested?

Great...now I'm wondering what I meant too? Freudian slip. Ah well, too much self examination points out too many problems, so I guess I'll just drop it.
