SSQA pads fixed together vs not fixed together - why?

The uneven pads will line up when you push against the attachment, raise it and rollback before locking the latch pins.

)

It often takes less effort to shove the attachment out of position than to get the "pads" to equalize against the attachment. I'll stick with my opinion that a non-rigid QA device is a cheaply made constant annoyance. An opinion based on unfortunate experiences with Deere FEL's.

It's never been an issue, and I change attachments enough to warrant $200 in parts to make it hydraulic.

Cast arms are heavy enough they don't bend. I'd say that makes them better. :)

Power will come from a second diverter on the front of the boom. I have a grapple circuit already - I'll run that to my diverter and the switched circuit will control the latches.

If I have the tools here to do it, I'm going to bring the SSQA mounts and the torque tube home. My cylinder is at home. It's a little guy with 6" stroke.

I'd guess I could bend cast arms. It's not like a 3/8 steel arm bent under intended use.

Thanks, I was curious about the end mounts:

End mounts, port locations, and even length of stroke mean little to me. ;)
