In many (most?) areas you would be lucky to get a 3 person crew right now as busy as everyone is. Great that they are rockin.

That's an unusual top step on a couple of those. Haven't seen that done before.
Even the reflections in your windows are a scenic view.

That bottom picture - post 503 - that's the type of country I live in. Its called the Palouse. Looks like you plunked down right in the middle of a big 'ol wheat field. Very nice - lots of room - great views.

Yeah, strange... doesn't seem safe. Surprised it is code. I had a patio poured with a step similar and did not like it much. Always felt I had to tell guests to be careful stepping out.

Im not a fan of more than one step down to the porch.

I like a bigger landing at threshold level, not just a step. Place enough for some shoes, a door mat, a potted plant, and room enough for three or four to stand... and not shoulder to shoulder.
