Well,, I went to the dealer and wrote the check today,,,
they will deliver it in a day or two :thumbsup:
It does have a differential lock,
and maybe the tires are big enough that steering brakes will be less of an issue??

I would not buy front weights...not if you're just using a finishing mower. Try lifting the mower and see how the front end feels. The weight of the engine might be enough.
I've had 4 Deere tractors. For two of them ( a 790 and a 4400), I always removed the loaders when mowing...no front weights. Never had a problem with the front end being light. Now, if you were going up a slope and raised the mower...well, then you might need front weight.
Front weights aren't cheap and I suggest you try before you buy them.
Now, that applies to a 72"-84" finishing mower...other implements, such as a rotary cutter (bush hog) weigh more.
