steering wheel spinner knobs

I have one on my Kubota B7610. It has hydrostatic steering. The spinner is not not essential, but I find it handy when craned around in my seat running the rear mount snowblower while wearing heavy gloves.

I have two mounted on my steering wheel. Have even contemplated using 3 or 4. Big wheel, short arms....

I have a spinner on mine, and wouldn't be without it . Makes it a lot easier to turn when your doing loader work.

I added one a few months ago. It worked out real nice using the rear blade and FEL to move snow the past few weeks.

I worked at a lumber yard in the 70's that used lots of old trucks and forklifts. Every new guy got told "thumbs out". My Mack 10 wheel did not have power steering and took about 17 turns lock to lock. When you hit a rut or rock with the front tires that wheel would take off. After driving it a few months I put a spinner on it. It had a quadruplex twin stick tramsmission that required a lot of hands off the wheel to shift, so the knob was a real luxury.

I added one to my Kubota this winter - picked up a Kubota branded one on e-bay and it has been very helpful for all the snow removal work that I have been doing. I also like how easy it is to use with the heavy gloves on!

We never used them due to the risk of injury. I agree that they can be an advantage but forearms have been broken by them. I just bought an old H Farmall and took it off immediately. Just apply more muscle and let that wheel spin if you can't hold it. Try to anticipate things like ruts, ridges, or obstacles.

Yes they are dangerous ,I know too many people with broken ribs from those **** things and catching clothing in them when getting out , I know many dealers remove them from used tractors !

The one on my old 901 Ford is a necessary evil when bushhogging or using the finish mower. Large skinny wheel with lots of turns between the stops. You just can't keep up without it.

I keep reading this and from other people also. I would not be without one with manual steering, I don't feel the need for one with power steering.
