Stihl Kombi Vibration

I have a Stihl KM 131 that is 2 years old and has about 50 hours on it, but it is out of warranty.

It vibrates so bad that my hands hurt for days. 3 days later and the tips of my fingers are a little numb, even with the anti vibration gloves. I finally put the machine it down for good, until it is fixed.

All of the attachments vibrate bad. The blower is the worst, then the brush cutter, then the hedge trimmer, and the trimmer is just an annoyance.

Any idea what I should check first?

I brought it to the dealer, they used it and said it was normal... but they only held it for a few seconds, maybe a minute.

I'd guess either a clutch issue or upper driveshaft

The clutch drum screws could be loose.
The plastic bushing at the end of the shaft missing maybe?

I just spent 6 hours on my km90r today without gloves and no vibration or tingle in my hands at all.
Does it do it with no attachment on it?

I think I'd remove the upper shaft and run it and see if the vib goes away. Obviously, once you crack open the housing, do look for those loose lost bolts.

You might check to see if a fin has broken off the flywheel. I got a Stihl MS250 to fix once that had a broken fin from new. The owner used it until the vibration eventually took out one of the crank bearings.

Easy fix: new flywheel.
