Kioti CK30HST, Kubota BX-1500,
Well I just got each 65-lb chain off my Kioti CK2=30HSt. And since they are hard to move around, I'm just wondering if people have a nice storage solution for them?

Hang them from a hook? Inside/OUtside? Soak in Oil?

Thanks

Mike

I guess you mean snow chain, not logging chain.

Snow chains are not much good to wrap around and pull trees. They do have some weight, however, so you could make a chain box front bumber and use them for ballast.

I carry several 1/4" GR70 log chains in some steel square tubing with a strap across the bottom. It works great, and the bottom has big cracks so the mud washes thru when it rains. The loader frame is drilled and tapped w for fine thread bolts.

For my use boxes made of PVC would be plastic splinters by now. If you don't like to baby stuff then use steel. If my boxes were stolen today I'd make em the same way tomorrow.

Hope this helps.
