Didn't catch your original post. I considered doing similar with a Racor on our B2910, haven't gotten around to it yet.

One thing I will mention though on the 2 micron Racor filters - I talked to the guys at the local rental house about these as they had installed them in an effort to better maintain their equipment.

They ended up pulling them, as they resulted in too many field service calls.

Apparently they worked a little too well.

Possibly not a problem on non-rental equipment, where you have control over fuel.

You mean that they got clogged up too fast and they were replacing filter elements too often?
