That guy standing in front of the recovery vehicle may have been wearing bullet proof body armor but I wouldn't have wanted to test is against that cable if it broke.

No, I think some of those guys are dumb as rocks with the equipment. When I was active duty I saw my share of dumb mistakes. Most don't have enough experience with that kind of equipment. At least they have the heavy duty stuff to bail them out. There's no way I would be standing around that cable, either.

Agreed, I can't imagine anyone driving in there, unless their intention was to either get stuck, or cause chaos.

Update:
Well my neighbor is still waiting on the neighbor's brother with the wide track dozer. I know if it had been mine, it either would be out or completely buried from trying.

While waiting I'd get a spade and dig a trench (or 2) at least a couple of feet deep to drain water away from the tractor.

A bit of an update... Quote of $1500 to get it out. No date to do so as the property owner giving access has stated he wants to be present, but has been ill. Unfortunately, the Cat owner is going back to the mainland 1st week of July, so time is fleeting.
