When i built my garage [pole barn] i put in 3 10x10' doors in the front and 1 10x10 door in the back, it can't hurt to over build. one of these days i will post pics of the barn i just finished the building [closed in].

yeah i figure i only want to do this once, it probably cost alittle more now but it will save me later.
while i was building it i did knick the 6x6's a couple a times with my loader, you would think a 10' opening would not be hard to get through.
Now that the metal [flashing] is up i have to be alittle more carefull.

No Shane, Delmar doesn't think too much-he's a 5 1/2 year old puppy. He's a good boy though and fortunately not afraid of anything so I feel confident when my wife runs the trails with Delmar out front.

Now I am have my Molly as my avatar. She's 8 1/2 now. She lies around on the sofa like your Dobie. How old is he/she?

Do you have a picture of your pole barn you can post? I need one of those next spring.

Hey Northland i have 2 dobes and 1 shepard she's 13. My avatar is Fergus he is 3 my red dobe is Turbo he is 1 and not our choice of name[he was a rescue dog] but he comes by his name honestly.

Sadly my Molly is dieing of dilated cardio myopathy (DCM) - heart disease that commonly inflicts deep chested dogs

That's exactly what I want/need! Maybe not quite that large but the same design I was going to do something like this (see PDF) but your design is better.

Sorry about Molly, it is tuff went best friend gets sick. We had to replace 2 knees in our sheppard we would have lost her about 4 years ago if we didn't.
Dobes can have the same heart condition but we will have to keep our fingers crossed.

How much snow up there now? We have none [yet]
