I picked up the seat today. It looks to be very nice and very well built. Definitely better than what came on my 4110. A lot more cushioning, in addition to the suspension, adjustable lumbar, adjustable seat back lean, and adjustable arm rests.
I did not order the mounting brackets that RRacing said I needed because I didn't understand how they were used, and they aren't cheap ($22 each). Now that I have the seat and have a picture of how the bracket works, I can see that they are are probably a good idea. An alternative that I may try is to make a mounting bracket out of some 1/8" X 1" steel flat bar that goes across the front bottom of the seat rather than front to back on each side like the two dealer brackets. I think if I bend the ends of the flat bar 90 degrees on each end, drill a hole on each end (on the "bent" part) for the pivot pin, then drill a couple of holes to mount the bracket to the seat, it will work.
There is a big opening in the seat bottom where the 4110's shutoff switch plunger should contact the seat, so I will need to put something across the opening so it will make contact. No big deal on that.
The seat does sit higher, especially when empty. Some trial fitting with the seat suggests that when empty and pushed all the way forward, there is only about one inch of clearance between the front/top edge of the seat cushion and the bottom of the steering wheel. Pushing the seat all the way back gives about five inches of clearance. When seated and pushed all the way back, I think it will be okay. If not, I may have to do some surgery on the 4110's mounting bracket to enable the seat to sit lower.
Looks like the seat belt will still function correctly, as will the lever for moving the seat forward/backward. I don't think the seat will interfere with any controls.
It does seem to be very comfortable!!!
