I be afraid of the post bending on a straight push, if you hit a rock.

What about a 3pt post driver.. modified?

I'm up for a good ole post driven contest anytime. My arms maybe sore, but my legs won't because I'm not going to be jumping on and off a tractor all day. Let me know when and where you want to drive them post!

I have got bunch of friends in Missouri next door and have adopted their good sayin " show Me" :D

Now , I'm thinking outload here... Is there any chance to mount an I beam vertical and plumb to the draw bar and using couple of pullies and length of aviation cable to reverse action of 3 point lift up to a down force action to force the T post down.:D :D

Please keep your laughter to yourselves:D

I'm looking forward to see the pics. Hope it'll work for you. let me know if you need help posting the pictures. I know there are pneumatic or hydraulic post drivers both hand held or 3 pt mounted, but they are quite pricey and not in my implement budget. I need a backwoods engineered system that works most of the times:D

this still worked best for me - pneumatic driver went through rocks no sweat - carried t-posts in the bucket -- ran compressor off the generator-- drove about 75 - 80 posts one day and even with bad shoulders - never hurt at all that night. down side = driver was about $400----- that blue beast (manual) hurt me after just 25 posts the week before.

Mike, That looks great. I have just about the same rig that you have there minus the "Blue beast". Do you have a link for that or manufacturer name and model.

Thanks,
