Robert, good to hear from you. As far as the walking thing, can you get or do you own a treadmill? Will keep you going during the snow. Might even be able to carry out some conveyor belt experiments . Good luck to you and here's wishing you a full and speedy recovery.

I wish you the best of luck and speedy recovery. I'm glad to hear the surgery went well and you are feeling better. I was saddened to hear about your injury. I'm sure it affected your entire family, as it did so many of us here on TBN. I am glad to hear you can spend a lot of time with your daughter now. Life is so short and fragile.

Hey Robert! I heard you were doing OK under the circumstances, but it sure is good to hear it from you. I dropped a card in the mailbox today. Well, that'll give you something to do.....for about 30 seconds. Back in the early '80's, I fell off a roof and busted ribs and punctured both lungs. That ruined most of a summer. But on the bright side, I found out that I had a BUNCH of friends. I hope you can find a few bright spots out of this. Who knows? Maybe you'll hook up with a hot nurse! Let us know if there's ANYTHING we can do.

I am adjusting to my current condition which for the most part hasn't been to hard but there are so many simple things I use to do that I can't now. Even typing on my laptop is hard because I can't turn easily and have to set the laptop on my lap to be able to type comfortably.

I did take a walk yesterday. It was only around the house but the ground is sloped so it was interesting walking down and tiresome walking back up but it was great to be outside. Today is suppose to be around 68 degrees so hopefully I will get outside again because it is suppose to turn colder tomorrow.

The nurses were good for the most part there was one night shift group that I had two nights in a row and I think they were fired. They refused to take care of any of the patients. They would tell you they were on the way over the intercom but never show up and you could hear them at the nurse station laughing and joking. The supervisor came in after the second night and talked to a lot of the patients because of all the complaints and I don't recall seeing that group of nurses again. There were a few cute nurses but they were married already.
