all my hydraulics are working just cant go forward or backwards without grinding noise and it wll die if u press hard on the pedal. Is ths the transmission or what? Are we talking 1000.00 to fix this? Parts? I have the T5C 199 model. any ideas or thoughts?
You might check the suction line. possiblity your sucking air. I have an Allmand that does the same thing after it is warm and I found the suction line was loose. I don't have it back on line yet to see if that was the problem.
It would be the large line going from the hydraulic oil to your pump. I think on the termite both ends go to a barb fitting. Also you should have a suction strainer at the hydraulic oil tank.
where & what exactly is the suction line? I have had this tractor for many yrs but I dont live in the area where I bought and had it serviced. Plus I'm a female that really doesnt know the ins & outs of this unit. Have to have it "spelled out" in simple terms. I do know where the hydraulic fluid tank is. I see the big lines coming out of the tank. thks again. Any help is appreciated. KL
I suggest you go to Terramite.com and download the parts manual for your t5c. This will help a lot in identifying different parts. I don't have my unit up and running, so I don't know if a loose suction hose is the answer.
