Look out Lou had a beer or two.. and I will probably get scolded one more time.. But you can稚 make chili without cumin, ancho pepper, New Mexico chili peppers and the neighbor cat.:confused3:. The one that thinks your flower garden is his/her bathroom.. Always invite the owner of the cat,;), they will brag on the chili and ask have you seen my cat?.. And you can said not lately.. I call it texaskittybegonechili.. or tekibench:D,, can I have another bowl of tekibench.:stirthepot:. make sure the cat is of nice size.:). a lot of seconds will be served and request for your recipe,:stirthepot:, Just tell them it was your Aunt Kitty recipe and she made me promise on her flower garden to keep it a secret .:censored:. Lou

Lou,
Are you sure it is from Texas and are you sure it is cat or kitty and not gato?
hugs, Brandi

Well, I was told there is a delay for "makeup application":confused3: So I'm stuck here on the tarmac:mur: I get up early just to clean the "plumbing" out, seems like a good routine, but for some reason it doesn't catch on around here:laughing:

Lou, I think that is a great recipe, mostly since I'm not to fond of cats, but I have "questions" what about fur-balls??!!

paceron-
The A-7 (Corsair) was an attack aircraft, where the F-8 (Crusader) was a fighter(last of the gunfighters). They were both built by LTV(Vought) so they did look a lot alike, but the A-7 was a much younger and higher tech bird. The F-8 could fly circles around the F-4(Phantom) as it was built for dog-fighting and the F-4 was built to be a fighter/ attach aircraft (no guns). The only armaments we loaded on the Crusader was 20mm Cannons(4) and Sidewinder missles (2-4).

I left Nam for the last time in '71 and at that time the Crusaders had a lot more MIG kills that the Phantom. We in VF-211 had 6 kills and our sister Squadron Vf-24 had 4.

It was a good but old bird and a real hand full in the groove and coming aboard ship, but I still have great memories and a few scars from left from them.

Charlie

The AF F-4 was quite a bird and was adapted to do many types of missions. Lots of goody hangers for all types of delivery and a rotary canon inboard. I'm sure the word Pueblo is in your memory. I spent about a year and a half on a remote tour in the southern part of the peninsula and nearby locations TDY. F-4's and rescue helicopters. The host country was still flying F-86 and F100 at the other end of the field. Ironically my son was there 20 years later at another base but still a remote tour.

Okay I will be serious for a moment.;). it passed,, There is more than one way to skin a cat,, but I only know one way.. like a squirrel I think..

Question: What have you paid for a cord of wood in the past?
The reason I ask because my wife called a local ad in the paper that had firewood for sell.. She ask me,, while he was on the phone,,
He wants 300 dollars a cord and 75 dollars deliver,,
What do you want me to tell him..
I said ask him is it walnut, black cherry or mahogany,, She said,,, he said it oak..
Tell him we will pass..
That sound kind of high or is just me?.. alright two questions then..

I have 35 ton log splitter that runs off the back of my tractor,, in the far back corner of the barn,, would have to move some stuff to get to it.. My chain saw was in the plastic carrying case,, but only the plastic carrying case is in the tack room now,, and no one know where my chainsaw went.. Not me Dad,, wasn't me grandpa,, Kids.. anyway that's why she was checking on buying some firewood.. cause I am lazy..

Anyway I took that 375 dollars and went to Home Depot and Lowes and picked up a electri chainsaw that I can keep here at the house,, also it's quite, got a five ton electri log splitter that I can keep here at the house,, both in the garage,, locked up,, behind closed doors,,
I went over to the land and got me 12 ft.. by 18 inch live oak log..
Now am in the fire wood business.. Only the problem is I give it to my neighbors,,
I got to get tough.. nothing free around here what does this look like a free fire log store,, practices.. sounds to mean.. have to come up with something else..
But on a positive note,, that little log splitter does a real good job.. it had no problem splitting that oak.. Now the chainsaw it's a little lite,, but for fifty dollars can't moan.:D. Lou..

Lou I like the little electric log splitter. I could pull that size behind my golf cart and run it with my little yamaha generator. That way I only have to handle the heavy log once in the field. I also had the type behind the tractor but by the time I could switch implements I could just use the tops of the trees and no splitting was needed. Now I have some 12"-15" logs that I can split. Maybe a black friday sale somewhere??

Lou, I say you let the neighbors go get the wood, saw it and split it, then they can have it.

Don that little log splitter weights over 100 pounds.. almost to heavy for this old man.. but you are right.. I was thinking about hauling it around on a small trailer I have,, 4 x 6 with a generator,, behind the gator.. along with the electric chain saw.. I be a one man show.. silence in the woods,, I will be able to hear that tree falling.. and answer that old question.. Yes it does make a noise.:). Lou
