That's a mighty pretty cat there Don,, mighty pretty.. and fat looking too..:laughing:,, I use squirrel in place of cat.. when cats are not available..

Happy Thanksgiving all,,

I wish your holidays are as sweet as mine.. Lou

Lou; If someone gets a shot at a coyote, we might make coyote stew instead of cat chili! You wouldn't happen to have a recipe for it, would you? :licking: ;) :D

Not for stew FG..but I have a nice one for barbeque dog,, I guess we could replace the dog with coyote.. just a lot more rub on the coyote and a little more set to the side and let chill for awhile.. being it,, little more on the tough side.. where most prefer a young tender pooch.. I know I like apple wood with collie and hickory with English setter.. oak with greyhound,, because the slower the burn with the wood and the quickest of the dog needs to equal out,,.
I am thinking,, maybe wrong on this one.. but bodark with coyote.. it a hard wood but so is the coyote.. bodark is not liked by most,, nor is the coyote.. sound like a nice fit.. need a big pit.. so the coyote will fit,, serviced with catsup on the side,, What are y'all thoughts?.:anyone:,,. Lou

Lou, a coyote is to big of a PITA to skin, even using an air compressor!!

I think that might be a good time to pull out the A-1! I can't think of a better reason to reach for it. Or maybe the Tabasco? (Of course, Tabasco goes with almost anything!)

I think I am going to declare it Coyote season here. They began singing, just as I was drifting off to sleep last night, then came back thru an hour later. Next pack was telling the world about it, at 0400, and they too were back tracking an hour later.

Same here FG19, lots of audio but no visual of the 7Pac. That's their new name.

I've never minded coyotes "singing", but if you don't care for it, set-up an outdoor speaker and sound-activated playback of Patsy Cline singing "Crazy". Maybe you can give them coyotes some voice lessons? DO NOT play opera.

Our donkeys keep the coyotes about 1/4 mile from fence lines.

I'm about 1/2 mile from both my neighbors who have donkeys. No wonder the 7Pac prefers hanging out here.

You are in a donkey free zone so you might have to work on that?
