Good morning Popsicles!! 16* here. but at least no wind...yet

Mom is doing fine, they found that a combination of 2 drugs was responsible for raising her Potassium levels. I thought that was pointed out by the pharmacist? Any way, new drugs and she is back at it! BTW The Cardio dept there agreed with the one in Decatur, so, ....

Glad to hear your mom is doing well, Dennis, and the NWS says 13 degrees here with only a 5 mph breeze.

That is chilly.
Your only 26 degrees warmer than we are here, if we leave the chill factor off.
Minus 30-40 with it and windy here now.

Cooler next week.

 You got that right, any joke can be switched around!

I got lucky, I left the sink water on last night, DUH last year I changed the plumbing so the sink could drain into the yard. Yeah you guessed it, not enough flow to keep the 2" hose from freezing and the sink backed up, was just at the "overflow" stage when I woke up to make coffee!! WHEEEW So maybe I DO have some Oklahoman blood after all:confused3:?:D

9*!! glad I didn't look twice at my gauge!. Gotta love them Cheerios, I prefer the "original" flavor, but will on occasion delve into the world of the "honey nut O's" too. Never had a "cubed" mango, wonder how they grow those:D

Jim, Tractor supply has a winter close out this weekend, 50% off. You may be able to find a fuel transfer at a decent price. Saw one on the website 120v for $79 , didn't look for a manual crank though.

27˚ The icy dusting looks pretty this morning. I just talk to my Mother and they just filled up their propane tank for the third time this winter @ $400 a fill-up. I'm glad I'm electric and wood (that is until the electricity goes out).

Oh no! You don't have a "Jim moment" until the water is ankle deep and fills your shoes. That's what happened in my basement, but I had the exact thing happen to me in my cabin at the kitchen sink because of a frozen 2" drain pipe. In my case, it overflowed and ran out the door, one drip at a time. It was only about 1/2" deep at the deepest spot. When I first installed the sink base unit, it was particle board, so I painted all the exposed bare edges with two good soaking coats of paint and then put small casters under the cabinet to raise it up off the floor. That bit of wisdom saved the cabinet from becoming water soaked and swellin' up like a toad. All I had to do was thaw the drain pipe and mop up the mess.:)

BTW:
FG may be busy finalizing her airplane purchase or be up there flyin' since she got her 1st class medical. She doesn't impress me as somebody who lets the moss grow. Her next post may be all about her new airplane. At least I hope it's something like that. I just hope she's well and busy rather than anything more sinister.
