My weatherbug said 105 today, man is this never going to end? What a summer. It is showing 56% humidity, but everything is so dry I'm not sure that makes any difference.
North Texas stood on ceremony as Tuesday's high of 106 degrees went into the record books two ways as the date's record high and as number 70 in days at or above the century mark.
Meanwhile, the state's drought and wildfires continued to exact their tolls.
Luckily, our fire crews prevailed.
Dennis, it rained here today. Before daylight I got about .01" and between 9 and 11 a.m. another .02" maybe. It's better than nothing, but not much better.
Did that run your new rain gauge over? Maybe next time you need a six pack of gauges.
Oh no, my new rain gauge is at least 3 or 4 times as deep as it needs to be.
Hundredths; not tenths, Dennis.

I'm going to head North this weekend just so I can remember what rain smells like.
Do not try to steal hay during a drought in Lee County, you could get shot with an AK 47.

That the way stuff like that should be handled. Just should have shot a little better.
