We got about .62" of rain and some hail. I think (or hope) the hail was small enough and that there was little enough of it that we don't have any damage.

The storm was much later than we expected. Rain & wind didn't start till about 2300. We got about 1 in and some wind but no damage that we can see so far. Hopkins county just north of us had a firehouse destroyed and some houses destroyed in Farmersville. So I guess we dodged the bullet. Hope everybody in the path of this storm is safe.

Bird-- Just saw the Wal-Mart in Denton got hit hard with hail.......hope you are all good.

Perhaps my biggest complaint with the Charter cable line-up is that we don't get RFD as we did with the satellite.

They could give me RFD-TV/Rural and outdoors channel and take everything else off and I would be good, wife on the other hand not so much. I get caught up in the teen mom and them type shows when she's got the remote, the best money spent was DVR,we can record our shows on bed room TV and watch them when the others gone on living rooms. Bird I remember something about them saying was going to remove RFD from Charter,I hate that cant watch all the good shows anymore.

We went to the U.S. 380 (University Drive) Walmart and Sam's Club in Denton today to just look around. Apparently yesterday's hail broke all, or very nearly all, of the skylights in both of them; literally hundreds it seems. They had already replaced the ones in Walmart with OSB and were in the process of replacing the ones in Sam's Club with OSB when we were there. I guess no local place has new skylights like those, and I'm sure that even if they stocked them, they wouldn't stock that many.

Bird, I think Denton got hit at least twice and I heard it was 3 times yesterday. 1st storm I was watching since it started near me (where I got the ,04 from) then it moved over Decatur on to Denton. So 1st was just "hail", 2nd was "Oh he77", third had to be "Oh *&^%:D

BTW, y'all where close to the last big one too:shocked: The one producing tornadoes!
