Yes, there are 2 of them there. I was told the river is down because of the recent water crisis. I'm guessing they are diverting water off of the river for the locals city water.

Ron, what water that makes it to the river chain, gets trapped in the lakes and they are LOW!

Bird, I think trout where the 1st fish I ever caught? I couldn't possibly count how many I have caught over the years. Most in Arkansas, Missouri, Colorado and a few in N California.

The only place I've caught fresh water trout was in once in Colorado in 1987 (only caught 2), in Idaho in 1992 (caught a half dozen one day), and in Alaska on several different years. And of course I've caught a few of 2 varieties of salt water trout around Port Aransas.

The trout that I caught was in Colorado also. It was at the bottom of a mountain where the Rio Grande river starts at. That's some good eating.

Got up to 92* here yesterday with a nice 20-30mph breeze, like standing in a commercial hair dryer! Today, warmer, but less wind TG!!

Dennis, are you makin' any bets on whether we will get rain on Sunday? I have big hopes, but little faith at this point. I'd love to be surprised with a 3" gusher, but the phrase, "snowball's chance in he77" comes to mind.

Jim, higher chance we will go dry yet again:thumbdown: I was walking to my pond to go to the back to try turkey hunting (impossible almost on 15 acres) I only have maybe 10" in it right now. I would take a small flood if it comes without the hail and tornadoes!
