Kyle you can add this one to your volume of Don stories. He has a cousin (LOL) that works for the peanut company. He called and they are open one day a month. That was the day. Bird gets nuts. Funny how all that works in Central Texas isn't it?

I was syncing up the Ipad and Iphone and found something we didn't think we had!!! Brandi in working clothes allowing Mike to hold the drill with the step bit while I took the photo of someone working......
He has a cousin That's a under statement. Love Don's stories about his COUSIN's.

TSC T shirts. Always like to check if there is one on the rack that fits my life style when I visit a TSC store.

Ron,
I have never seen anything but green and red t shirts at TSC. But the International Farmall is the Great Grandpa to my Mahindra, so I buy those t shirts.
hugs, Brandi
My local TSC store has lots of Farmall shirts. :D But never has any Orange shirts. :(

Jim,
Booger was my constant companion outside and truly was a tractor and project dog. He was always laying nearby when I worked the tractor or anything outside. If he was sitting when I drove by on the tractor, I knew to stop, lower the bucket, get off, and pet him.
hugs, Brandi

Brandi please forgive me, just saw this . Was very saddened when heard news about Booger.

Oh Wow Boone, Thank you. I know you wanted to met Booger some day. Now it will have to be in Heaven. That old blog photo sure got me crying. Lots of things have changed since those photos were taken. No more plans of a horse ranch, I just want a couple to ride. The Big RED Beast didn't even have her canopy yet! Booger was only 5 years old then.
hugs, Brandi

Believe it or not, I caught this guy 6-28-14 Snapping Turtle.jpgwith my backhoe bucket in my gully, yesterday. I had target practice with my Kimber in the middle of the driveway, then buried him out back.

Today, I got lucky shooting a turtle in the island/duck pond with Dad's 22. I shot across the island through weeds. It was a lucky shot. He floated a few inches below the surface for few seconds, enough for me to get around the pond to see RED in the water. His rear legs were sticking out and his head was retracted (or gone). He sank before I could get the boat. He was about 6 inches wide.

Saturday, after the rain, I tried Dennis' idea of crawling into a raised loader bucket. Great view, and I shot "at" a few heads or bubbles (not sure). Very rarely would they come up to show their shell profile. I do know I got a monster snappin' turtle in there. He is so big he just came straight up and all I could see is a neck and head about 2-3 inches WIDE. No wonder my ducks want to stay out of the water. I'll have to check my neighbor's woven wire fence real good to plug future turtles admittance.. This guy might have crawled under the fence.

Anyway, I am going to buy or build an underwater turtle trap, since loggerhead snappin' turtles don't climb out to sun that much. This guy's shell has to be about 15 inches wide.
hugs, Brandi
