Get a load of this... I'm not a "fast food" fan ... Left out this morning for business prior to some good old home grown natural breakfast ... Swing thru a drive thru and grab a breakfast sandwich ... One bite and I'm like. .. Geez folks eat this? I immediately hand it off to my 7 month Cocker Spaniel ... She wouldn't touch it!!!!! Smelled it and turned the other way !!

BR-- there's a clue there somewhere. Just give me some good ole Mom & Pop Breakfast at the local Café.

Well by the time the Bahia gets dried out the coastal is extra dried out but yeah normal for the area. I cut it Wednesday evening and baled it Friday at noon can't really get in any sooner than that.

I hope that the Fall / Winter thread brings cooler temps and more rain! We have had less than 1/2", since mid June, here at the ranch. Getting lots of thunder now but, still no rain.

We have had little to no rain in a long time. There is a huge black cloud heading our way. It's setting almost on top of us. But no rain.

I think that Moses must be one of my neighbors. Every time a good rain cloud comes our way, I can watch it split on radar, and go east and west of us. :-D

We tell everyone we live under a dome. We went to Gonzales this morning. 1 mile down the road, there were puddles from rain overnight. Our place was dry as can be.

That big black cloud is setting just to the west, taunting us. We can hear the thunder and smell the rain. But it's completely clear directly over head.

Rain! Hot Diggity. Rain! A big red cell developed right on top of us and keeps building. Coming down for almost an hour now. Windows are open and enjoying the sounds, the smell and the cool temp.

We got a good storm in Mesquite that dumped over an inch of rain. The storm was heading to my house in Mabank, when I got home the streets were wet, but I only had a spit in the rain gauge.

We finally got 2" last night along with a thousand lightning strikes it seems. No sleep for a couple hours, but worth it for some rain. Still have huge cracks in the ground. It soaked up everything that fell.

Still sad about jinman. ;(

We got 20 drops. 24 drops if you count what fell from the trees. Thunder and lightning, just enough to fool me and chase me inside to the recliner and Texans game. I'm with you Kyle. I still numb about Jim.

We drove up to Gainesville, Muenster, and on to Ardmore, OK, yesterday so I got to drive in the rain; mostly very light, but some brief heavy spells, but dry as a bone at home.

Yesterday was a nice cool rainy day ... Steady light rain that produced 8/10ths ... The clouds and the north breeze never broke high of 85

Forecast says today thru Wednesday 91 high and then a week of cooler temps !!! With good rain chances!!!

2.5 in of rain and a lightning strike that took out several electronics. Gate operator, 55" TV, 24" TV, still looking. Will be going to insurance agent sometime today. Woke up to the genset running. Fuse on the meter pole blew. Util co-op was here in about 2 hrs from the time we called. They are always on top of it.......still hurting about Jim.....waiting to hear about services.
