Back home I paid $1200 for 4 mounted and liquid filled. Tires and labor so I was kinda shocked.

Yeah, tractor tires sure generate complaints.

Mine happened last year when I was back in the woods clearing some dead trees. I hit a stump and managed to shear off the valve stem on the rear filled tire of my MX5800. On site repair would be expensive and I didn't want to risk damaging the fairly new tire by driving the tractor out. Instead, I used the backhoe outriggers to remove the tire and dragged it out with my other tractor. Loaded it in my pickup and had the dealer repair it. Had to reverse the process to install the repaired tire. Man those things are heavy!

Saved about $250 for a service call but I wonder if it was worth it considering my labor.

Some sort of special valve stem, that couldn't be replaced in-situ?

With my regular tubeless tires on CUT, I'd have just ejected the old stem and pulled a new one thru, on the spot. Would've lost some liquid ballast, but it's easier to replace that back at the shop, than in the woods.

I have a supply of replacement valve stems but this one broke where it seals to the rim. Had a wide flange on it that wouldn't push thru. No way to replace without taking the tire off. Breaking the bead to get inside the tire wasn't something I wanted to try.

There might be some emergency rim hole plug around, but I've never used one.

I'm always on time, or early, for a doctor's appointment. They make you sign a release that if you are 25 minutes late they'll charge you $75. It should work both ways as I have spent many combined hours in waiting rooms well past 25 minutes of my appointment.

I had a talk with my optometrist a several months ago about that. On the previous visit I waited 45 minutes for her to show up after the assistant did all her tests and questions.
Only waited about five minutes this time.
Regular doctors have been pretty punctual on my visits to them lately. Last one actually called me back before my appointment time, and the the doc came in just a couple of minutes later.

Price ripoff between Canada and the US pricing. Taking the exchange into account the price difference is usually at a minimum 25% more....why?

I believe drug prices are adjusted worldwide to what the local system and market will bear. Covering tens of millions of dollars of R&D and regulatory costs with pills that cost pennies to manufacture and bottle, is a complex financial game.

People always like to call out the cheap cost of manufacturing, when complaining about the price of new medications. But I do believe the actual manufacturing cost is a comparative zero, when compared to the other costs involved in introducing a new drug to market.

My complaint is people dont listen /follow instructions and then tell you how it should be done. This is mainly for the team members I supervise, and also any kind of contractor/mechanic/tradesman I hire.
You tell them you want X task performed this way for the result of Y. You come back and something totally different has been done without the needed results.

Or, as just went thru with a contractor at work. We needed some drywall work done and the whole office repainted a different color.
We chose a light grey for the walls to lighten up the place. When he showed up to paint he had a much darker shade of grey. Told him thats not what we picked out. He said well this is what all of my customers like. I told him again, we wanted lighter color to brighten the room up. His reply was, buddy you dont need lighter paint, you need to paint it this color and let me come put in all new LED lights for you. ( to the tune of about $11,000).
I said no, paint it the color we asked for or dont paint it at all. I never used him after that.

Different, but same attitude.
I've been looking at new tractors. Yes, MF products.
Model I'm interested in is on the lot.
Looks OK, features, they can add the grapple to the loader...
Except I have some orchard here and I want it lowered.
I know it's possible. Need new wheels and rubber, horizontal exhaust.
Sales guy tells me it will only lower it 4-5 inches.
Yes, that's what I want.
No, it's not worth it is his reply.
I want it.
It won't make much of a difference.
Then I'll go and get it somewhere else.
Mentioned that to the sales manager on the way out.
I may be Kubota Rider pretty soon. :ROFLMAO:
