Then I asked what the heck that thing was that looked like an Army assault vehicle?

He said two words...

"Hunt Vee"

And look at those little PT-1s /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Thanx! for the guided tour(is there more?)...I'm still drooling all over my keyboard! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'll have to make it down there one day with my truck to pick up some more goodies!

Great photos thank much. Looks like it was a very wet and cool day. Did you still go out and test different attachments?
That is beautiful country, next time you go there take an extra day and tour the country side. It's worth it.

You really do sit up high on the 2425. Scott says that they sell a fair amount of them though.

After spending quite a bit of time talking, we were off and out to the play, uhh, demo area. It had stopped raining, so out we went!

Tere are two basic areas with three mounds, two dirt and one gravel. They are bringing in dirt, a little at a time with the intent of building up a nice sloped area to practice driving the tractors on. This would be much like the demo area over at the "farm" across the way.

The other mound will stay as is so that you can dig all dy if you like.

I drove the 1430 up every hill and it performed well, but not that much better than the lighter 425. Both tractors went up the slopes with no problems, with and without loads in their buckets.

The key was to not put too much foot into it which would bog down the wheel motors. Taking my time, I was able to climb even the steepest slopes in the mud wit no problems.

Here's a shot of the 1430 and 425 right next to each other with the 425 in front. This gives you a little bit of an idea of the length difference. The 1430 sticks out a little more in the front due to the size difference of the FEL arm.

Very nice job. You are giving me the urge to go back down and purchase some new toys.

Here is the 425 and the 1430 side by side from the back. Notice that the 1430 is a bit wider as well. This would make it a little more stable on slopes. Of course if they reversed the tires (like someone I know), it would be even more stable!

Well, sorry to say that I had had enough play time and it was time to pay my bill and load up.

I pulled my trusty F-150 up and we loaded a bunch of attachments into the truck bed.

Boy,,,,,you're sure bringing back 3 month old memories!!! I remember when Scott took me out to the dirt piles, and how careful/timid I was with the 425 demo. Now my beast rears up on its two rear bar tires, articulates, oscillates, and begs me to climb aboard!!
