That is one good looking Grapple, nice design, looks like it will do a great job. That thing sure would look good on my machine!!!!

Really close!
The 54 sitting on the scale without the cylinder is 344 pounds so the weight of the single lid models will be about the same as the dual lids.

But these have the taller 39.5" opening than the dual lid that has a 30" tall opening, correct?
Yes, pretty sure.

Yes. I think we're going to call it 39", but one could say 39.5 depending on where the tape is held.
Ted says that the cylinder can be adjusted for an even larger opening by retracting the clevis mount some, but we'll leave that up to the end user.
Since all tractors aren't created equal, he doesn't want to open it too wide making it possible to come in contact with someone's loader arms when open and curled back all the way.

I am not sure what you mean by retracting the clevis mount some. Could you elaborate that or with a picture point to what you mean? I am confused how you could change the opening short of grinding off the mounting ears and re-welding:confused3: a mounting for the cylinder.
The cylinder rods are threaded on the ends. There is a set screw that can be loosened, allowing the clevis to be adjusted in or out.
If it is adjusted inward, toward the cylinder housing, it will result in the lid being opened more.
The cylinders that we're using for the new models do have enough stroke to make this possible. I do not think it is possible to adjust our other models like that because it would keep the lid from closing all the way.
I hope that makes sense.....it's early.
