I think it should work OK even without the autofill. Just open the top cap and pour in some fuel. It holds enough for a lot of thermostarts. Each actuation only uses a few drops.

The one I went with does not have a cap. It is supposed to be filled by the injector fuel return line but so far no fuel seems to be going into it.

You have it hooked up just like it is suppose to be. There is suppose to be a small amount of leakage by the injectors that keeps the reservoir full and then of course excess goes on into the tank. If you are not getting that you may have to take your hose off and use a squeeze bulb or something to put some in your reservoir. My 2002 reservoir stays full but I hardly ever use it.

Thanks, I'll take it out and run it for a while today and see if slowly fills up. If not then I'll do like you suggested with the squeeze bottle. Tomorrow it's supposed to be around 30 degrees and will be a good test for it. Today I'm changing the engine oil, transmission oil and antifreeze to get it ready for winter work.

I believe I'm going to just use my primer setup it's just not worth the trouble. After going out again today And useing the TS which worked Great if I wanted to heat it up more just give it a little Squeeze And STOKE it up.:p I also was able to remove the the plastic and just use the Bulb and Hose. Not a Drip:thumbsup: so I can just leave it on with fuel in it if need be.

If this thing doesn't start filling up I may just have to do something like that. I ran the tractor around the place for about 20 minutes today pushing dead trees around, ran the engine fast, slow and up and down but still no fuel in the bottle:confused:. Maybe it will just take a while to fill up the extra lines I added. I know it had a leak on the line on the #2 injector and at least now that is fixed so some fuel must go down the line at some point. Still, at this point I haven't accomplished anything by adding it

Can you describe those parts? I can't quite make them out from the single photo. What is that white plastic-looking piece in line?
And how is the reservoir vented?

Make sure thats not a check Valve. Could be there to keep fuel from running back into the injector when sitting. And if the hose going into the Tank gets submerged and pressures up the line it could prevent fuel from flowing in or most likely slow it down.

Hopefully this photo is better. It's a little larger. The TS tank is vented back through the line that returns the injector return fuel to the tank. No actual vents in the TS tank itself.

OK. Thanks, I can see it now. Could you also doube check that the one-way valve in the line leading to the TS reservoir is installed in the correct direction?

If you are talking about that little white looking piece, it is a reducer from 1/4" to 1/8". The injector banjo's are 1/8" but the fuel bowl is 1/4" fittings so I had to use 2 different size hoses. I took the line loose at the reducer and can blow air though it back to the fuel tank to make sure it is not blocked.

I've got the oil pan off right now and waiting for the new gasket to come in. When I get it back together, I'm going to pull the line off the bowl on the injector side and run the engine to see if any fuel comes out. I don't know how much is supposed to come from the injectors or how often it does.
